A few high points from my week:

-Picked up the new David Crowder* Band disk, ‘A Collision‘… highly recommended.

-Found a great book for anyone who wants to truly share the good news with Mormons: ‘I love Mormons‘- David L. Rowe, P.h.D. David Rowe is a professor at Salt Lake Theological Seminary and such a great guy. I talked with him a few times the semester I took some classes. He understands the Mormon culture (and the weirdness of living in Utah as a Christian ‘native’) and truly wants to see the Latter Day Saints come to know the true Jesus and the true good news. If you or anyone you know has contact with Mormons, buy this book and read it. It will really help you see the difference between a cult and a culture.

- Gearing up for the class I am teaching: The Everlasting Gospel. This is exciting to me, because I am not comparing Christianity and Mormonism; instead, the focus of the class is going to be what the Gospel truly is (Biblically) and how our beliefs compare. Pray for this missional attempt to build people up in Christ.

-Really enjoying Last.fm player. Thank you bloodypapist for introducing me to such rapture and joy in an online music experience.

-I am so looking forward to seeing my Love over new year’s… more than words can convey. We are going back to Michigan to see her family. It sucks that I can’t see her until then, but the time we spend together will be good.

-Rejoicing over the reality that our attempts to reach God, to understand Him and His word, to worship and pray… everything we do is faulty, and still God is pleased. More on this later.
