About the atonement
Scot McKnight has a good series of posts about the atonement. The whole series is worth the read, but especially check out todays installment. Scot hits the mark in pointing out that our understanding of what the atonement actually accomplished is often misconstrued by our understanding of sin as only moral failure. may the Lord help us remember that sin is an issue of life and death, not just do’s and do not’s.
